{"id":1967,"date":"2022-03-16T10:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-03-16T09:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/coima.com\/press_release\/coima-targets-eur1-billion-of-investments\/"},"modified":"2026-04-22T15:16:54","modified_gmt":"2026-04-22T13:16:54","slug":"coima-targets-eur1-billion-of-investments","status":"publish","type":"press_release","link":"https:\/\/coima.com\/en\/media\/press-releases\/coima-targets-eur1-billion-of-investments\/","title":{"rendered":"COIMA targets \u20ac1 billion of investments in logistics sector as it launches new fund"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"leading-line-height-paragraph tracking-paragraph font-paragraph max-w-container-paragraph text-left text-paragraph-sm! md:text-paragraph-base!\" id=\"paragraph-97f026\"><strong>\u2022 COIMA Logistics Fund II follows success of COIMA Logistics Fund I, which recorded a performance of 18% <\/strong><br \/> <strong>\u2022 New fund comprises \u20ac400 Mln of assets, let to major names such as Amazon and YOOX Net-a-Porter Group, as well as a \u20ac400 Mln investment pipeline<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"leading-line-height-paragraph tracking-paragraph font-paragraph max-w-container-paragraph text-left text-paragraph-sm! md:text-paragraph-base!\" id=\"paragraph-97f0e8\"><em>Milan, 16 March 2022<\/em> &#8211; <strong>COIMA SGR<\/strong>, a leading asset manager for institutional investors, is expected to reach a target of <strong>\u20ac<\/strong><strong>1 Bln of investment in logistics<\/strong> this year as part of its continued growth in the sector.<br \/><br \/>After the first dedicated <strong>COIMA Logistics Fund<\/strong> launched in 2013, investing some <strong>\u20ac<\/strong><strong>100 Mln with a performance of 18%, <\/strong>COIMA is now bringing forward <strong>COIMA Logistics Fund II. <\/strong>The investment strategy for the fund will focus on creating a broad logistics platform fully aligned to the demands of contemporary occupiers through the acquisition of both leased properties and buildings to develop and be let.<br \/><br \/>The completed projects and those in pipeline comprise <strong>over 800,000 sqm<\/strong> and a <strong>total value of approximately <\/strong><strong>\u20ac800 Mln<\/strong>, with plans of further investments this year bringing COIMA\u2019s total logistics investment portfolio to <strong>\u20ac1 Bln<\/strong>.<br \/><br \/>Transactions completed in the last quarter, totalling over <strong>\u20ac400 Mln, <\/strong>include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"leading-line-height-paragraph tracking-paragraph font-paragraph max-w-container-paragraph text-left text-paragraph-sm! md:text-paragraph-base!\" id=\"paragraph-97f177\">\u2022 a 1.1m sq ft (105,000 sq m) logistics asset in south-east Milan, consisting of a new grade A centre built by a leading logistics and industrial properties developer, leased to well-established 3PL and e-commerce operators;<br \/> \u2022 a complex of two properties covering approximately 172,000sqft (16,000sqm) in the <strong>municipality of Liscate<\/strong>, a consolidated logistics location on the outskirts of Milan. The properties are both income-generating and rented to a primary logistics operator active in the pharmaceutical-cosmetic sector;<br \/> \u2022 a portfolio of 11 properties located in the <strong>Triveneto logistics market<\/strong>. The real estate complex has a rentable area of about 1.9m sqft (175,000 sqm) and 15 major photovoltaic plants with an installed capacity of approximately 12 MWp.
