{"id":2340,"date":"2019-10-16T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-10-15T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/coima.com\/press_release\/coima-sgr-sells-palazzo-turati-to-invesco-real-estate\/"},"modified":"2026-04-22T15:13:09","modified_gmt":"2026-04-22T13:13:09","slug":"coima-sgr-sells-palazzo-turati-to-invesco-real-estate","status":"publish","type":"press_release","link":"https:\/\/coima.com\/en\/media\/press-releases\/coima-sgr-sells-palazzo-turati-to-invesco-real-estate\/","title":{"rendered":"COIMA SGR sells Palazzo Turati to Invesco Real Estate"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"leading-line-height-paragraph tracking-paragraph font-paragraph max-w-container-paragraph text-left text-paragraph-sm! md:text-paragraph-base!\" id=\"paragraph-0db589\"><strong>&#8211; Invesco Real Estate, a global real estate investment manager, acquires the historic building in the center of Milan<\/strong><br \/><strong>&#8211; COIMA purchased the building in 2015 via the Sofaz Italy fund as the first investment together with Sofaz, the sovereign wealth fund of Azerbaijan<\/strong><br \/><strong>&#8211; The building, which covers over 10,000 sqm, is entirely leased to the Milan Chamber of Commerce<\/strong><br \/><strong>&#8211; In the last 12 months, COIMA has completed sales of Core and Core+ assets totaling over Euro 700 million and with a return exceeding 15 per cent<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"leading-line-height-paragraph tracking-paragraph font-paragraph max-w-container-paragraph text-left text-paragraph-sm! md:text-paragraph-base!\" id=\"paragraph-0db650\">Milan, 16 October 2019 \u2013 <strong>COIMA SGR<\/strong> S.p.A. \u2013 Italy\u2019s leading Real Estate investment, development and management company \u2013 has sold to <strong>Invesco Real Estate<\/strong> \u2013 the global real estate investment manager \u2013 <strong>Palazzo Turati<\/strong>, a historic building in the centre of Milan, fully leased to the Milan Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"leading-line-height-paragraph tracking-paragraph font-paragraph max-w-container-paragraph text-left text-paragraph-sm! md:text-paragraph-base!\" id=\"paragraph-0db6b5\">Palazzo Turati was purchased in 2015 by COIMA and Sofaz, the sovereign wealth fund of Azerbaijan, via the Sofaz Italy Fund. The building is located at via Meravigli 7, a few steps from piazza Cordusio and piazza Affari, and just 500 meters from the Duomo. The building features a surface area totaling 10,360 sqm on six above-ground floors, used as office space, as well as an exhibition hall on the ground floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"leading-line-height-paragraph tracking-paragraph font-paragraph max-w-container-paragraph text-left text-paragraph-sm! md:text-paragraph-base!\" id=\"paragraph-0db6f4\">The building was built in 1873 and is part of Milan\u2019s historic heritage.
