Dear stakeholders,
following the conclusion of today’s hearing before the Judge for Preliminary Investigations in the Court of Milan, I would like to provide a brief update in line with our commitment to transparency and regular communication with all Coima stakeholders.
As Chief Executive Officer, I chose to respond to all questions posed by the Judge. This provided an important opportunity to offer the necessary clarifications and to contribute to an accurate reconstruction of the facts.
As previously indicated, my legal counsel and I submitted a detailed memorandum to the Judge, which was shared in advance with the legal representatives of Coima Sgr. This memorandum was supported by comprehensive documentary evidence clearly demonstrating the complete lack of merit in the charges brought by the Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office.
In addition, with a strong sense of responsibility and a firm commitment to prioritising the interests of the company, its structure, and the professionals who represent it—as well as to safeguard the trust placed in us by our investors and stakeholders—I submitted a proposal to the Board of Directors of Coima Sgr on July 22, 2025. This proposal involved a redefinition of my responsibilities as Chief Executive Officer, specifically excluding any executive functions involving interactions with the Public Administration or individuals who hold roles within it. The Board of Directors expressed its appreciation and unanimously approved the proposal.
We will continue to keep you informed and will provide further updates as soon as the Judge for Preliminary Investigations issues a decision.
We are deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in us, and for the thousands of messages of support we have received from around the world. These expressions of solidarity reinforce our determination to serve you with the utmost integrity and accountability.
Kind regards.
